These terms govern your use of EcoGenius Billing (“the Service”) — the web application at this site and the accompanying Windows and Android apps — operated by [business name not set]. By creating an account you agree to them.
You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, for keeping your password secret, and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access to it. One account represents one business; you may use it on as many of your own devices as you need.
You must be at least 18 and capable of entering into a contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
New accounts include a free trial of 14 days with every feature unlocked. No payment details are required to start it. When it ends you may subscribe to continue; if you do not, your account becomes read-only rather than being deleted — see §7.
The Service is sold as a subscription for a fixed period, paid in advance. Current plans are Monthly at ₹299 for 1 month, Yearly at ₹2,999 for 12 months. Prices are shown on the pricing section and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed by our payment gateway; we never see or store your card details. A subscription does not renew automatically — coverage simply ends on the date shown in your account unless you pay again. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Everything you enter — invoices, customers, items, purchases, accounts — is yours. We claim no ownership of it and do not sell it. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in the privacy policy. You can export your data at any time from Settings → Data, in CSV and JSON, without asking us.
You are responsible for the content of the documents you issue, including whether an invoice is correct for tax purposes. The Service computes totals and taxes from what you enter; it is not tax advice, and it does not replace a chartered accountant.
We work to keep the Service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, third-party outages (hosting, payment gateway, network) and events outside our control can interrupt it. The Windows and Android apps continue to work with data already on the device during a network outage.
When a subscription lapses your account becomes read-only: you can still open, print and export everything, but not raise new documents. We keep your data for at least 12 months after expiry so nothing is lost if you come back. You may close your account at any time by writing to us, and we will delete your data on request.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or where payment is reversed or disputed. Where the breach is capable of being fixed, we will normally tell you first.
The Service is provided as it is. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business, goodwill or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here, with its date at the top. Where a change materially affects you we will give notice in the app or by email before it applies. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of [city not set] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any consumer rights you have to bring a claim elsewhere.
